Acceptance of terms
By using Book the Cleaner you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes by email.
Bookings and payments
All bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received. Prices shown include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking value. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Our cleaners
All cleaners are vetted, DBS checked, and fully insured. They are independent contractors, not employees of Book the Cleaner. We match you with an appropriate cleaner based on availability and your requirements.
Satisfaction guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the quality of a clean, notify us within 24 hours and we will arrange a free re-clean of the affected areas. This guarantee does not apply if access to the property is restricted or if the issues are caused by circumstances outside our control.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the booking in question. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, loss of earnings, or indirect losses. All cleaners carry public liability insurance with a minimum cover of £1,000,000.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, and code, is the property of Book the Cleaner or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
